I HAVE WANTED TO GIVE UP MANY TIMES SINCE OPENING MY SALON. 

Having a decade of experience managing single to multiple commissioned salon locations led me to believe that owning a salon would be a piece of cake. Much to my surprise, it was so much more complicated than I had anticipated. I searched for salon mentorship. The vast lack of resources and information available to salon owners cost me an incredible amount of money, time, energy, and stress. Each decision, good or bad, profoundly impacted my livelihood, my family, and my employees.

Opening the first sustainable salon business in DFW was a leap into the unknown, but it gave us our sense of purpose. With the support of my dedicated, hard-working team behind me, we have developed & implemented systems critical to our continued growth. Our success depends entirely on the systems we choose to follow and the people we trust. We conduct research and testing to verify the validity of every company we partner with and every tool we create and use.

SUPPORT FROM UNEXPECTED PLACES CHANGED MY LIFE

The past five years have shown me how salon ownership can be a lonely and sometimes competitive business. Hearing of fellow salons struggling and inevitably having to close their doors for good often left me disheartened. Early frustrations with salon distribution companies led me to launch my own sustainable-based distribution company in 2017. Creating my distribution company led me to an entirely new hair family. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from and work closely with some of the most talented and experienced leaders in salon sustainability worldwide.
